IMPROVED - We’ve updated the look and feel of the security window. You can let Quicken maintain and update the mix or define your mix manually. NEW - In the Securities window, you can now control the asset mix for each security, mutual fund, and ETF.We also display more pie wedges now that selecting a wedge is easier. You can now hover over the security name or a pie wedge to get more detailed information. IMPROVED - The Allocation Cards have been updated. Also, both the Change (%) and Change ($) columns will appear if the card is wide enough. IMPROVED - The Holdings card is now wider so that you now can see the security name instead of the stock symbol. If the window is narrow, your dashboard will switch to a single column and you will see one card per row.
IMPROVED - Our Dashboard Cards now expand horizontally and vertically to match the window so you can see more information. You can update quotes, go to Account Settings, and hide cents using the Dashboard Cards. Define the accounts to include in the dashboard when looking at Investments, Brokerage, Retirement, or Education account groups. Change the date on the dashboard to see what your Holdings, Top Movers, and Allocation by Security and Asset Class were yesterday or even a year ago. NEW - We've added a new toolbar to the investment dashboard. This includes a new investment dashboard toolbar, account sidebar indicators, auto-reconcile, bill presentment, and bill pay. Our new 6.5 release is exciting, with many enhancements. Finally, we've moved the Create New Report button that used to be in the report sidebar into the report toolbar, making it easier to find. Now you can duplicate or export a report without opening it first. IMPROVED - We've updated the Report Toolbar with two new options: Duplicate and Export. Now, the column header for the sorted column has blue lettering, and there's even a line at the top to make it obvious which column is controlling the sort. Unfortunately, it wasn't easy to see which column was being used to sort the transactions. For example, if you want to see your transactions sorted by Payee, you can click the column header for Payee. IMPROVED - Quicken allows customers to sort their transactions based on a column. NEW - If you have Touch ID on your Mac or an Apple Watch, you can now use them to open your password-protected Quicken file. Touch ID, Improved Register Header, and Report Toolbar Improvements In version 6.6, you can now optionally choose to enter the Share Price and Number of Shares, then let Quicken calculate the Total Cost. IMPROVED - For Buy and Sell transactions, Quicken has always calculated the share price based on the Total Cost and the Number of Shares. Additionally, the colors used for each asset class remain the same between accounts making it easier to spot the asset classes you care about when reviewing multiple accounts. As the cards grow wider, additional columns appear, taking advantage of the extra space to provide you with more information.
IMPROVED - The Allocation by Security and Asset Class cards have also been improved. Second, green and red pills appear behind the numbers to help emphasize whether you're up or down for the day. The new sort order makes it easier to see which way your portfolio is heading. First, we've changed the sort order so that the top gainers appear at the top of the list and the top losers appear at the bottom, sorted by the actual value. IMPROVED - The Investment Dashboard Top Movers card gets a couple of enhancements. We've made several small improvements throughout the product in this release. #Quicken mac 2017 update 0 cost basis software
